• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630 - $1,750

• RTO Policy: Up to 7 days maximum

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; qualified Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) candidates who are registry-eligible with appropriate experience may be considered
• Experience in acute care, critical care, or hospital-based respiratory therapy preferred
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced trauma center environment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to maintain clinical documentation and follow departmental protocols

Responsibilities

• Confirm physician orders, assess appropriateness of therapy, and support quality patient care
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient response to respiratory treatments
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions or concerns in a professional manner
• Perform respiratory and pulmonary procedures according to department policies and protocols
• Respond to emergencies and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed
• Set up and maintain equipment, administer medical gases and medications, and support supply stocking
• Participate in patient care teams, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities
• Maintain proficiency in respiratory care skills and stay current on new techniques and equipment
