• Setting: Inpatient hospital pharmacy / acute care pharmacy
• Employment Type: Travel assignment
• Start Date: September 22, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Call: 1 week of on-call coverage every 3 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490–$2,670
• Orientation: Approximately 40 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience required
• Pharmacy credentials required, including PharmD and RPh
• Active BLS certification required
• Inpatient infusion pharmacy experience required
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Strong knowledge of inpatient, hospital, and acute care pharmacy practices
• Experience with medication dosing, compounding, sterile technique, and therapeutic monitoring preferred
• Must be able to meet compliance requirements prior to start
• State or compact pharmacist license must be in hand at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders to support safe, effective patient care
• Prepare and dispense inpatient medications accurately and efficiently
• Provide clinical pharmacy support for antibiotics, anticoagulation therapy, high-alert medications, and dosing adjustments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
• Support patients across neonatal, pediatric, adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations as needed
• Monitor medication therapy and assist with therapeutic drug management
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and pharmacy systems
• Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled and contribute to smooth pharmacy operations
