• Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology suite
• Employment Type: Travel Allied Health
• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Start Date: 10/5/2026
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Weekly Hours: 40
• On-Call: Approximately 8-10 shifts per month for urgent and emergent interventional radiology cases
• Weekend Coverage: On-call coverage only, approximately every third weekend
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,520-$2,710

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of strong Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• Scrub and circulate experience required; Cath Lab scrub experience preferred
• ARRT(R) certification required
• Active Maryland state licensure required, as applicable
• BLS and ACLS required
• Community hospital experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• Comfort with floating within the IR/Cath Lab specialty as needed
• Flu vaccine required
• First-time travelers may be considered with strong relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional radiology procedures in a busy, moderate-to-high-volume suite
• Scrub and circulate for procedures including angioplasty, thrombectomy, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and line placements
• Support hemodialysis access interventions and tunneled catheter procedures
• Prepare the room, equipment, and supplies to support efficient case flow
• Maintain a sterile field and follow strict infection prevention practices
• Perform accurate patient monitoring and recognize changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary support teams
• Provide on-call coverage for urgent and emergent cases when needed
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with professionalism and attention to detail
