Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,060
• Setting: Hospital-based respiratory therapy / acute care
• Employment Type: Travel respiratory therapist assignment
• Start Date: 9/28/2026
• Duration: 18 weeks
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend as scheduled
• On-Call: Not required
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• CRT or RRT credential required
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Travel experience required
• Strong pediatric and adult respiratory experience preferred for first-time travelers
• Comfort working with a broad range of respiratory diagnoses and treatment protocols
• Ability to float within specialty and support care areas as needed
• Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and ABG analysis preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care across multiple patient age groups in a hospital setting
• Perform ABG draws and interpret blood gas results
• Assist with respiratory therapy protocols and treatment plans
• Support ventilator management, weaning, and troubleshooting
• Deliver therapy using equipment such as ventilators, BiPAPs, CPAPs, and blood gas machines
• Respond to respiratory needs related to a wide range of respiratory illnesses and conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely patient care
• Maintain flexibility to support the unit and other care areas as needed
