- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a flexible start between 6:15 AM and 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- On Call: No call
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 - $1,820
Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Radiology Technician program
- Current certification as a Radiology Technician or Radiologic Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- At least 1 year of radiology technician experience required
- Working knowledge of radiographic imaging and fluoroscopy procedures
- Basic computer skills and the ability to document accurately in clinical systems
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients and imaging equipment as needed
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to read and interpret orders while maintaining patient confidentiality
Radiology Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations in a timely and professional manner
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and transfer images to PACS
- Document tests, procedures, and related patient information accurately in the computer system
- Support clinical and office functions to help keep the radiology department running smoothly
- Assist with tasks such as pregnancy tests, EKGs, case cart checks, room turnovers, and supply stocking
- Monitor radiology supplies, equipment certifications, and routine maintenance needs
- Maintain a lead apron log and promptly report equipment malfunctions
- Review the daily OR schedule and collaborate with leadership to support coverage needs
- Apply aseptic technique when performing procedures during surgery
- Maintain patient privacy and workplace confidentiality at all times
