• Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710 - $2,920
• Call: Required every 5 days, including weekends
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology, Cath Lab, or a closely related cardiovascular specialty
• ARRT certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience supporting advanced cardiac procedures and interventional radiology procedures preferred
• Strong skills in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality patient care
• Must be comfortable with call coverage every 5 days, including weekends
• Eligible for Connecticut licensure; allow time for license processing prior to start

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab and electrophysiology lab
• Support procedures including LHC/RHC, PCI, STEMI cases, temporary pacer placement, IABP insertion, Swan catheter placement, EP implants, ablations, and peripheral angiography
• Maintain sterile technique and help ensure proper room setup, workflow, and patient monitoring during procedures
• Operate specialized procedural equipment while maintaining a safe clinical environment
• Accurately monitor patient status and respond to life-threatening rhythm changes when needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the procedural team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Support inventory management, supply organization, and daily room preparation
