• Shift Pattern: Sunday through Wednesday, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with call included

Job Requirements

• Current certification or registration as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Strong knowledge of CT protocols, patient safety, and contrast procedures
• Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent teamwork and communication
• Experience with PACS/RIS and imaging workflow preferred
• Comfortable working overnight shifts, weekend coverage, and participating in call coverage
• Ability to follow HIPAA, hospital policies, and department-specific procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans following established hospital and radiology protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to help reduce anxiety
• Verify patient identity and screen for allergies, medication incompatibilities, and contrast tolerance
• Monitor patient condition before and after contrast injections and report concerns promptly
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure supplies, equipment, and scanning rooms are ready for use
• Support emergency, trauma, and unscheduled procedures with efficient workflow and strong communication
• Process and verify images in PACS/RIS according to protocol and alert the radiologist to unusual findings
• Assist with daily inventory, cleaning, QA/QC requirements, and equipment checks
