Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,170 - $3,400
• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory / Imaging
• Location: Brockton, Massachusetts
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 4 x 10s, 40 hours per week
• Call: Evening and weekend call for emergency procedures
• Position Type: Travel Healthcare Job

Cath Lab Tech Job Requirements

• 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• Experience with Impella, telemetry, and IABP required
• Ability to independently read telemetry strips
• Must pass a telemetry exam on day 1 with 85% or better
• Massachusetts RT(R) license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• RCIS certification preferred
• IR experience preferred
• Strong communication, professionalism, and patient confidentiality standards

Responsibilities

• Support hemodynamic monitoring and imaging operations in the Cath Lab
• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures under the direction of the Cardiologist
• Perform and record hemodynamic monitoring data accurately
• Assist with preparation of patients undergoing invasive procedures
• Help maintain quality control and optimal diagnostic imaging standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and request service when needed
• Complete billing and procedure documentation accurately
• Perform daily calibration and maintenance tasks as assigned
• Take evening and weekend call for emergency procedures
• Uphold confidentiality, compliance, and respectful patient-centered care
