• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,340 - $2,510
• Assignment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapy

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
• Experience in a Level I or Level II trauma facility
• NICU Level III and adult critical care experience required
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Care license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NRP certification required
• NPS and/or ACCS certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to a diverse inpatient population
• Support ventilator management and make informed ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results
• Apply lung-protective ventilation strategies as part of daily patient care
• Participate as a member of the Code Blue response team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Deliver care in accordance with hospital protocols, clinical standards, and best practices
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and compassion
