Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS knowledge preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Experience with ventilatory equipment, patient transport, and acute respiratory care
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate respiratory treatment plans
• Administer routine and intensive respiratory care using invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment
• Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, and arterial punctures
• Support tracheostomy care, endotracheal tube procedures, and mechanical ventilation management
• Assist with respiratory-related procedures and patient transport as needed
• Document treatments, patient response, and therapy progress accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively during shift handoffs and collaborate with physicians and care teams
• Maintain and monitor respiratory equipment to support quality patient care at all times
