Experienced CVOR Tech needed for a 13-week travel hospital assignment in Camden, New Jersey. Join a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room team supporting complex surgical procedures, working day shifts in a collaborative surgical services environment near the Philadelphia metro area.

• End Date: 1/11/2027
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Shift Schedule: Day shift, 3 shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Float Requirement: May float to general OR and other nearby locations based on staffing needs
• On-Call: May be required based on department needs, with a 30-minute response expectation

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent CVOR Tech, surgical technologist, or surgical services experience
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• EPIC charting experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Must be able to scrub within the specialty
• Ability to support adult patient populations
• Must be comfortable floating to general OR as needed
• Strong attention to sterile technique, patient safety, and teamwork in perioperative care

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures and support the surgical team throughout cases
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for complex cardiac and general surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and follow universal safety and infection prevention protocols
• Support a range of cardiovascular surgery and general OR cases as assigned
• Document accurately in EPIC and collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative team members
• Float to general OR or other assigned sites based on staffing and operational needs
• Participate in department call coverage when needed
