• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, approximately 36 hours per week
• Call: One night call shift each week with rotating weekend coverage
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 - $1,860
• Location: Springfield, OH 45504

Ultrasound Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, Sonographer, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• ARDMS, RDMS, or ARRT Sonographer credential required
• RVT certification required for vascular coverage and call responsibilities
• BLS certification preferred upon hire and required prior to direct patient care
• Experience with general ultrasound, including abdomen, small parts, and liver Doppler
• GE ultrasound equipment experience required
• Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS preferred
• Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and adapt in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and produce clear, accurate images for interpretation
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and provide compassionate patient care throughout the visit
• Verify patient information, history, and consent while maintaining confidentiality and safety
• Document sonographer impressions and communicate findings to the appropriate clinical team
• Support a variety of ultrasound exams and assist with vascular scanning as needed
• Maintain equipment, follow disinfection standards, and uphold imaging best practices
• Participate in quality improvement efforts, education, and onboarding support for new team members
