Travel Healthcare Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,050 - $3,280
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Shift Schedule: Primarily days with some late nights, evenings, and on-call coverage based on unit needs; 4x10 or 3x12 scheduling may be available

Electrophysiology Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology tech or closely related procedural experience
• Current RCES certification, Radiologic Technologist license, or RN license in New York
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to implement EP pacing maneuvers and understand pacing documentation
• Experience with GE MacLab and CardioLab systems required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, professional approach
• Flexibility to support changing lab needs, including evenings and call

EP Tech Responsibilities

• Assist the electrophysiologist during EP studies, ablations, and cardiac implant procedures
• Support setup for procedures using multiple mapping and vendor systems, including Carto, Abbott, Opal, and Affera
• Communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, and in-room staff to ensure equipment and supplies are ready
• Help coordinate room turnover and maintain on-time procedure starts
• Work with the charge nurse and third-party vendors to support smooth daily workflow
• Document and assist with EP procedure measurements and pacing maneuvers as needed
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered cardiac care environment
