• Employment Type: Travel MRI Technologist
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 1/16/2027
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490-$2,670
• Location: Rochester, NY 14642
• Work Environment: On-site hospital imaging department

Job Requirements

• 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging, radiologic technology, or a related field preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ARRT certification required or highly preferred
• GE scanner experience required
• Injection certification required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license preferred; willingness to obtain after start date
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care, and MRI safety protocols
• Ability to stand for extended periods and remain focused in a busy clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for scans and clearly explain MRI procedures to help them feel comfortable
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support timely diagnostic imaging
• Insert IVs when needed for imaging procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning environment
• Document procedures accurately while protecting patient confidentiality
• Assist with patient care tasks as needed to support smooth department operations
• Be available for holidays, on-call, and callback coverage based on unit needs
