• Job Type: Travel assignment
• Healthcare Setting: Busy PET/CT department
• Schedule: Day shift, 5 days per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380-$2,550
• Call/Weekends/Holidays: No call and no holidays

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent PET/CT experience required
• Current CNMT or ARRT(NM) certification required
• Strong IV start skills
• Experience in a hot lab environment
• Ability to administer IV and oral contrast
• Experience working with a MEDRAD FDG injector preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-volume diagnostic imaging setting

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of PET/CT scans, including skull base to mid-thigh, whole body, limited infection studies, brain, Amyvid, sarcoidosis, myocardial perfusion, and specialty PET exams
• Prepare and support patients throughout nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures with professionalism and care
• Start IVs and administer IV and oral contrast as needed
• Operate PET/CT equipment and assist with imaging workflows in a busy department
• Handle hot lab responsibilities and support safe radiopharmaceutical preparation and use
• Work efficiently to help meet the demands of a high-volume scanner schedule
