Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel MRI technologist job

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930-$2,080
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-8:00 PM
• Additional Coverage: On-call 8 hours per pay period, with one Sunday call shift per month
• Patient Population: Adults
• Travel Requirement: 50-mile radius rule; no local candidates

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Current ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols, patient preparation, and imaging procedures
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative radiology team
• Ability to meet travel compliance requirements, including license in hand at time of submittal

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams accurately and efficiently while delivering compassionate patient care
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures and provide clear instructions throughout the exam
• Operate MRI equipment and follow established imaging protocols, safety standards, and quality practices
• Document procedures and patient information in Epic
• Work closely with radiology and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support smooth workflow
• Support a wide variety of MRI studies, including abdomen, brain, breast, chest, cervical, thoracic, and extremity imaging
• Maintain a safe environment through proper infection control and isolation precautions
