Experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist needed for a 13-week travel Rad Tech assignment in Olney, MD, with weekday hours, no weekends, and no on-call. Join a fast-paced IR / Cath Lab team and deliver high-quality patient care in a specialized procedural setting.

• Location: Olney, MD
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Shift: 5x8 day shifts; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,420
• Employment Type: Travel
• Setting: Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab
• Charting System: Cerner
• Schedule Notes: No weekends or on-call; every other holiday required
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Valid Maryland radiologic technologist license required
• ARRT-R certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• Ability to pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Experience with Cerner preferred/required
• Strong sterile technique and scrub experience required
• Ability to operate the Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm required

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with interventional radiology, vascular, and pain management procedures
• Support procedures such as tunneled catheter placements, embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, PEG tube placements, and Pleurx catheter placements
• Assist with pain management cases including epidural blocks and radiofrequency ablations
• Assist with vascular procedures such as angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, and IVC filter placements
• Prepare the procedure room, set up equipment, and maintain a sterile field throughout each case
• Perform accurate monitoring and EKG lead placement as needed
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately within scope of practice
• Work flexibly in IR, Cath Lab, CT, X-ray, or bedside case locations as needed with the team
• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate support to patients throughout the procedural experience
