Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (T) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Maryland state license required; pending license may be accepted
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Ability to support adult oncology patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• COVID-19 vaccination and flu vaccination required with no exemptions
• Must be open to some holiday and weekend coverage as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy services for adult oncology patients
• Perform daily treatment setup, imaging, and verification using advanced radiation therapy equipment
• Support treatment planning activities, including chart checks and patient preparation
• Provide care for a variety of diagnoses and complex cancer cases
• Assist with procedures such as SBRT, SRS, and HDR treatments
• Maintain radiation safety standards and follow all clinical protocols
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and other clinical team members
• Communicate clearly with patients and families while providing education and support
• Work with specialized technology including Varian TrueBeam, Gamma Med HDR, and RT Align systems
