Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography or a closely related breast imaging setting
• ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT M) required
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) required
• BLS certification required
• Breast Ultrasound experience preferred
• Experience with Hologic equipment required
• Travel experience required
• Active Connecticut license required prior to start date
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a multi-site environment
• Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required

Responsibilities

• Perform screening, diagnostic, and 3D mammography procedures with accuracy and compassion
• Support breast imaging workflows and contribute to a smooth, patient-centered experience
• Operate mammography equipment safely and effectively, including Hologic systems
• Maintain radiation safety and universal precaution standards at all times
• Float between multiple locations as needed to support patient care
• Collaborate with radiology team members to ensure timely and high-quality imaging services
• Prepare and position patients appropriately while providing clear instructions and reassurance
• Follow established protocols for outpatient and inpatient imaging procedures
• Complete documentation accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Contribute to a professional, patient-focused environment within a busy imaging department
