Job Details

• Setting: Hospital-based pediatric cardiac sonography
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare job
• Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,650 - $2,840
• Location: Newark, NJ 07112
• Experience Level: 1 year of echocardiography experience required
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience
• Experience with pediatric echocardiograms is required
• Fetal echocardiography experience is highly preferred
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS RDCS FE or CCI RCCS preferred
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment
• Comfort working with neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Professional attire: black scrubs

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic cardiac studies
• Complete fetal echocardiograms when needed
• Provide accurate, high-quality imaging to support patient care
• Work independently while maintaining excellent patient interaction
• Collaborate with the care team to help ensure smooth daily workflow
• Support pediatric cardiac imaging needs across multiple age groups
