This 13-week travel respiratory therapy job offers the opportunity to work in a well-established 371-bed hospital serving a diverse patient population across med/surg, ICU, emergency, labor and delivery, and nursery care.

• Position Type: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist job
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Rotation: May include every-other-weekend coverage based on department needs
• Setting: Acute care hospital respiratory care department
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 - $1,860
• Start Date: October 25, 2026

Job Requirements

• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience in one location preferred
• 1 to 2 years of travel respiratory therapist experience preferred
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist license
• Experience with ventilators in an acute care setting
• Ability to obtain arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across ICU, med/surg, and other inpatient units
• Manage and monitor ventilated patients using standard acute care respiratory equipment
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and support respiratory assessments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the respiratory care team to support patient care plans
• Assist with day-to-day respiratory therapy coverage and patient assignments as needed
• Maintain accurate charting in EPIC and follow established clinical protocols
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
