• Position Type: Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Location: Rochester, New York
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8 schedule, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; some procedures may run until 4:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600-$2,790
• Work Setting: On-site nuclear cardiology imaging
• Additional Notes: No weekends and no on-call

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
• At least 6 months of cardiac imaging experience
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification
• CT certification required to perform CT scans
• BLS certification required
• Strong attention to detail, patient communication skills, and commitment to safety and quality
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
• Acquire and process diagnostic images with precision and clinical expertise
• Complete daily quality control and support radiopharmacy operations in compliance with established guidelines
• Manage and document patient data accurately in the electronic health record system
• Follow all regulatory, radiation safety, and clinical quality standards
• Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to support workflow, innovation, and continuous improvement
