Experienced Medical Lab Technician needed for a 13-week contract in Vineland, NJ. This on-site acute care hospital laboratory role is ideal for a detail-oriented clinical laboratory professional with blood bank experience, ASCP certification, and a commitment to quality patient care.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1690-$1820
• Location: Vineland, New Jersey
• Setting: Acute care hospital laboratory
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Medical Lab Technician or Lab Technician in an acute hospital setting
• Blood bank experience required
• ASCP certification required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and specimen analysis in accordance with established clinical laboratory protocols
• Support blood bank operations and maintain accuracy in testing, documentation, and reporting
• Ensure timely and reliable reporting of laboratory results to support patient care decisions
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the hospital lab
• Collaborate with laboratory staff, nurses, and clinical teams to support patient care
• Participate in department workflow and every-other-weekend coverage as assigned
