Job Requirements

• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license in hand
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required; approximately 2 years preferred
• NICU experience required
• Experience with pediatric critical care and ventilator management preferred
• Comfort working with infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Ability to float to general floors, ED, NICU, PICU, and pulmonary areas
• Two supervisory or manager references required at submission
• Must be prepared for travel compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patient populations
• Perform and support advanced respiratory therapies and equipment management
• Assist with ventilator care and specialized modalities such as V60, HFOV, SiPAP, nitric oxide, and IPV/Metaneb
• Support patients with congenital or acquired heart disease, heart failure, transplant needs, VAD/ECMO, and trach/vent dependence
• Respond to changing patient needs and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes
• Float to assigned departments and adapt to unit needs across the facility
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
• Support a positive, patient-centered care environment with professionalism and teamwork
