• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Scheduling Options: 3x12 or 4x12
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Setting: Hospital-based pediatric critical care environment

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active Ohio RRT license in hand at time of submission
• NBRC certification required and active
• BLS required and active
• Advanced NRP and PALS required
• Experience in NICU, PICU, and pediatric critical care strongly preferred
• Experience with high-acuity Level 4 neonatal care preferred
• All required certifications must be submitted as active and current
• Must meet compliance requirements, including fingerprints, background review, and pre-start screening
• Nicotine-free status required for this smoke-free environment

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care for infants, children, and critically ill pediatric patients
• Support patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings
• Assist with respiratory treatments, monitoring, and patient assessments
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Respond to changing patient needs in a fast-paced acute care and pediatric hospital environment
• Float as needed to other pediatric and neonatal units within the care network
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and compliance expectations
