MRI Technologist Job Details

• Location: Findlay, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital MRI and diagnostic imaging department
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150–$2,310
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Contract Duration: 12 weeks, with possible extension
• Shift: 8-hour evening shifts, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, Monday through Friday
• Call: None
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Not required
• Orientation: 16 hours

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist or MRI Tech
• Current professional credentials and certifications required to practice as an MRI Technologist
• Ability to work independently in a hospital MRI environment
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety procedures, imaging protocols, and patient positioning
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
• Travel healthcare experience is welcome but not required

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established imaging protocols and MRI safety standards
• Screen patients for MRI contraindications and ensure appropriate preparation before diagnostic imaging procedures
• Operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Position and communicate with patients throughout examinations to promote comfort, safety, and cooperation
• Review imaging orders, verify patient information, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the hospital care team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused MRI environment
