• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology

• Contract Duration: 13-week travel contract
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift
• Shift: 8-hour days, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or IR Technologist
• ARRT certification or registration appropriate to the role
• Active New York State radiologic technologist license
• New York State injection license
• Demonstrated competency assisting with interventional radiology procedures and image-guided interventions
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Current documentation and credentials required for hospital onboarding

Interventional Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional radiology examinations and image-guided procedures
• Support CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Assist with embolizations, port placements, and IVC filter procedures
• Support percutaneous nephrostomy catheter placements and exchanges
• Assist with chest tube placement, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures
• Prepare equipment, supplies, and procedure rooms according to established standards
• Prioritize patient safety, accurate imaging, infection prevention, and compassionate care throughout each procedure
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to promote efficient patient flow and high-quality patient outcomes
