Travel MRI Technologist Job Details

• Location: Zanesville, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital and outpatient imaging locations
• Employment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440–$2,620
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• End Date: January 25, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week, approximately 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Coverage: Every fourth weekend, with weekend call approximately every 12 weeks

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent MRI Technologist or magnetic resonance imaging experience
• ARRT(MR) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Ohio license if required based on the candidate’s Radiologic Technology degree
• Current experience operating Siemens and GE MRI equipment
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records and Fuji Synapse imaging systems
• Ability to work scheduled shifts, weekend rotation, and assigned call coverage

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in hospital and outpatient imaging settings
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and promote comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Operate Siemens and GE MRI equipment according to established protocols
• Review orders and clinical information to ensure appropriate imaging procedures are performed
• Document examinations accurately in Epic and manage images through Fuji Synapse
• Follow MRI safety standards, departmental procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other imaging professionals to support timely patient care
• Participate in scheduled weekend and call coverage as assigned
