Travel MRI Technologist Job Details

• Location: Beverly, Massachusetts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240–$2,400
• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• End Date: January 30, 2027
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
• Department: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
• Schedule Guarantee: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience as an MRI Technologist
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience operating GE and Philips MRI systems
• Ability to work the required Friday-through-Sunday schedule
• Travel candidates only; local candidates are not eligible

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations safely and accurately according to established imaging protocols
• Operate GE and Philips MRI equipment while maintaining image quality and patient safety
• Screen patients for contraindications, implants, and other MRI safety considerations
• Explain MRI procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care throughout each examination
• Position patients appropriately and monitor them during diagnostic imaging procedures
• Review MRI images for quality and collaborate with the radiology team when additional imaging is needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow department policies, regulatory standards, and infection-control practices
