Vascular Ultrasound Technologist Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Vascular Sonographer, including vascular imaging experience
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification with Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to perform vascular ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages and with varying medical conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate clinical documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital-based imaging and vascular care environment
- Travel professionals residing within 75 miles may be subject to applicable local assignment terms
Vascular Imaging Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound studies as ordered by physicians
- Provide high-quality imaging across a broad range of patient types, ages, and medical conditions
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively according to established standards and procedures
- Review completed studies for image quality, completeness, and accuracy
- Document visualized anatomy and relevant findings clearly and thoroughly
- Collaborate with physicians and members of the healthcare team to support timely diagnostic evaluation
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused medical imaging environment
