Travel Radiologic Technologist Job Details
- Location: Troy, New York
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel assignment
- Start Date: October 25, 2026
- End Date: January 23, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030–$2,190
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Shift: 8-hour days
- Weekend Requirement: Every fourth weekend
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Healthcare Setting: On-site medical imaging department
Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, X-Ray Technologist, or diagnostic imaging technologist
- Current ARRT certification
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent patient care and diagnostic imaging standards
- Experience performing emergency department and inpatient X-ray examinations
- Proficiency with electronic medical records; EPIC experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for emergency department and inpatient patients
- Work independently while prioritizing radiology exams according to clinical urgency
- Operate Carestream imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Verify patient identity, exam orders, and relevant clinical information before imaging
- Position patients accurately and apply radiation-safety principles during every examination
- Document radiology procedures and communicate exam-related information through EPIC
- Maintain diagnostic imaging quality standards and provide compassionate, professional patient care
