Travel Respiratory Therapist Job Details

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating shifts based on staffing needs
- Alternative Schedule: A four 12-hour shift, 48-hour-per-week schedule may be considered
- Documentation System: EPIC experience preferred
Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional respiratory therapy experience, preferably in adult critical care
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Active Massachusetts RCP or RRT license
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts in an on-site hospital environment
- Current resume and professional references
- Hamilton ventilator experience preferred
- EPIC documentation experience preferred
Adult Critical Care Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to adult patients in a critical care setting
- Assess respiratory status and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans
- Manage ventilator support and assist with ventilator adjustments as clinically indicated
- Perform respiratory treatments, therapies, and procedures in accordance with clinical standards
- Monitor patient responses and promptly communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary care team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in EPIC or the designated medical record system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support safe, high-quality patient care
