Join a specialized pediatric respiratory therapy team for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital-based rehabilitation environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams. Travel RRT Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830–$1,970
- Employment Type: Travel respiratory therapy contract
- Setting: Pediatric rehabilitation hospital with NICU, PICU, and CVICU coverage
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with potential extension opportunities
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Shift Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
- Current Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in hand
- Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Recent experience providing pediatric respiratory care in high-acuity NICU, PICU, and/or CVICU settings
- Ability to complete required onboarding, credentialing, and fingerprinting requirements within designated timelines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy and critical care support for pediatric patients across NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients with complex respiratory and critical care needs
- Deliver respiratory treatments, therapies, and interventions in accordance with established clinical standards
- Recognize changes in patient condition and communicate concerns promptly to the interdisciplinary team
- Support patients requiring advanced respiratory management in high-acuity pediatric care environments
- Document respiratory assessments, treatments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
- Float to other affiliated pediatric, neonatal, and rehabilitation units as needed
- Participate in orientation, competency validation, and ongoing professional education
