Travel Respiratory Therapist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,630–$1,750
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital Emergency Department and respiratory services
- Assignment Type: Travel respiratory therapy contract
- Start Date: December 14, 2026
- End Date: May 31, 2027
- Contract Duration: Approximately 24 weeks
- Schedule: Three shifts per week, totaling 36 hours
- Shift: 12-hour nights, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Weekend Coverage: As needed
- Float Requirement: May be required to support other area hospital locations and respiratory care units
Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care or hospital setting
- Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license in hand at the time of submission
- Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential in hand at the time of submission
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification in hand at the time of submission
- Active required certifications must be provided with the application
- Ability to work night shifts, provide weekend coverage as needed, and float when required
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in the Emergency Department and related hospital areas
- Assess respiratory status and implement appropriate respiratory treatments in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Support emergency respiratory interventions and ongoing monitoring for acutely ill patients
- Contribute to specialized respiratory care and neurodiagnostic service coverage
- Document respiratory assessments, treatments, patient responses, and care plans accurately
- Float to other designated hospital locations as needed to support safe and consistent respiratory therapy services
- Maintain compliance with clinical, credentialing, and workplace safety requirements
