Join an on-site hospital imaging team as an experienced Echo Technologist and perform cardiac ultrasound examinations in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. This 13-week local healthcare contract offers a consistent weekday schedule, competitive weekly pay, and rotational weekend and holiday call. Echo Technologist Job Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with rotational weekends
• Call Requirement: Rotational weekend and holiday call

Cardiac Sonographer Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience performing cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography examinations
• Current registration through either ARDMS or CCI
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prior experience with EPIC or another electronic medical record system
• Working knowledge of digital ultrasound equipment, cardiac imaging techniques, and echocardiography procedures
• Ability to work rotational weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments
• Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills

Echo Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations, including stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Complete echocardiography studies in accordance with American Society of Echocardiography guidelines and applicable ICAEL standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations clearly, and promote a comfortable patient experience.
• Operate digital ultrasound equipment and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cardiac ultrasound technology.
• Complete scheduled cardiac imaging examinations accurately and within required time frames.
• Adapt imaging procedures and communication to the needs of diverse patient populations.
• Document exam information accurately and navigate the electronic medical record, including EPIC when applicable.
• Participate in the weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as scheduled.
