Travel Radiologic Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030–$2,190

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Technologist in a hospital or acute-care setting
- Current radiologic technology license or certification appropriate for practice in Massachusetts
- Ability to complete license and certification verification
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography procedures, patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety
- Current resume, professional references, and completion of required skills assessment
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening and occupational health clearance
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
Diagnostic Radiology Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for emergency department and inpatient populations
- Review imaging requests, confirm patient identity, and explain radiology procedures clearly and compassionately
- Position patients safely and accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate radiographic equipment and follow established radiation protection practices
- Recognize and respond appropriately to patients requiring additional support, including those with limited mobility or urgent clinical needs
- Evaluate images for quality and completeness, repeating studies when clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate pertinent findings or concerns to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, radiologists, and other imaging professionals to support timely patient care
