Travel Vascular Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830–$1,970
• Location: Lancaster, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital vascular laboratory
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: October 8, 2026
• End Date: January 7, 2027
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call: No call requirement
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Vascular Technologist Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited vascular technology or diagnostic imaging program
• At least 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience required; 2 years of experience in a vascular laboratory or under the supervision of a qualified vascular physician preferred
• Registered, or eligible to become registered within 90 days of hire, through ARDMS with RVT certification preferred or through CCI with RVS certification
• Completion of at least 15 hours of continuing medical education every three years in accordance with applicable accreditation standards
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, manage multiple priorities, and make independent decisions
• Ability to safely transport, move, and position patients
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, teamwork, and ongoing professional development

Vascular Ultrasound Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians
• Operate vascular laboratory equipment, medical record systems, and imaging systems safely and appropriately
• Assist physicians with special procedures involving the vascular laboratory
• Ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of patients throughout examinations and procedures
• Maintain compliance with vascular laboratory quality and accreditation standards
• Clean and disinfect equipment and work areas according to established policies
• Maintain required competencies and participate in continuing education
• Support the orientation and precepting of students and new team members
• Collaborate respectfully with patients, families, physicians, and members of the multidisciplinary care team
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and assist with departmental supplies
• Promote family-centered care, address patient concerns, and contribute to service recovery when needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
