Travel EP Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,410–$2,580
- Location: York, Pennsylvania
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week; 10-hour day shifts, approximately 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Weekend, Call, and Holiday Coverage: None scheduled
- Healthcare Setting: Invasive Cardiology and Electrophysiology Lab
- Position Type: Travel assignment
EP Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent Electrophysiology Lab or invasive cardiology laboratory experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Recent EP Lab experience with strong knowledge of cardiac rhythm procedures
- EPIC charting experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to maintain sterile technique and work effectively in a procedural environment
- Ability to remain beyond the scheduled shift when necessary to ensure the final patient is safely cared for
- Willingness to float or provide support as needed within the department
Electrophysiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, supplies, and patients for electrophysiology and invasive cardiac procedures
- Assist with cardiac ablations, conduction studies, pacemaker and AICD procedures, cardioversions, and other advanced cardiac interventions
- Support procedures involving left atrial appendage closure, vascular closure systems, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and related technologies
- Perform accurate monitoring, baseline measurements, EKG lead placement, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Participate as a scrub technologist or room circulator while maintaining a sterile field
- Assist with equipment setup, access-site preparation, and procedural workflow
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the cardiovascular care team
- Document care and procedural information accurately in EPIC
