Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Active New Hampshire license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current CNMT certification required
- Travel experience and specialty-specific experience should be clearly documented on the resume
- Cerner experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Siemens Symbia T6 nuclear medicine cameras preferred
- Availability for the stated weekday schedule and assignment dates
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine examinations in accordance with department protocols and radiation safety standards
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, explain examinations, and provide appropriate positioning and care
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including Siemens Symbia T6 systems when applicable
- Administer and handle radiopharmaceuticals according to established procedures and regulatory requirements
- Verify image quality and ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and visitors
