Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Details
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel healthcare contract
- Location: Concord, New Hampshire
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,590–$2,780
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- End Date: January 25, 2027
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Shift Hours: Approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week; five shifts per week
- Work Environment: On-site nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging setting
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Active New Hampshire license or eligibility to practice in New Hampshire
- Current CNMT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Up-to-date resume documenting specialty experience and any travel assignment experience
- Ability to complete a specialty skills checklist
- Prior Cerner experience is preferred but not required
- Availability for the listed weekday schedule
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures safely and accurately.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and promote comfort throughout imaging examinations.
- Handle radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with applicable safety protocols and departmental procedures.
- Operate Siemens Symbia T6 nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment.
- Verify orders, obtain relevant patient history, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Maintain radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team.
- Monitor image quality and follow established quality-control procedures.
- Document completed studies and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record.
