Travel Radiologic Technologist Job Details

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-Ray Technologist
- Current Radiologic Technologist certification or registration
- Eligibility to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Massachusetts
- Experience performing diagnostic X-ray procedures in a clinical healthcare setting
- Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts, including weekend rotation and holiday coverage when needed
- Strong patient-care, communication, and clinical judgment skills
Diagnostic X-Ray Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards
- Prepare patients for radiology procedures, explain the process, and provide attentive care throughout the examination
- Position patients accurately and operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Review X-ray images for technical quality and collaborate with the diagnostic imaging team when additional views are needed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and departmental procedures
- Support weekend rotation and holiday coverage as scheduled during the travel assignment
