Travel MRI Technologist Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260–$2,430
• Employment Type: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Assignment End Date: January 18, 2027
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care imaging
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Charting System: EPIC
• Work Arrangement: On-site in White Plains, New York

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent MRI technologist experience
• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) required
• Active New York state license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Demonstrated ability to safely administer contrast; New York state licensure and certification to inject contrast must be confirmed
• Philips MRI experience required; experience with a Philips 1.5T magnet is preferred, though other Philips experience will be considered
• Flu vaccination is required
• Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and MRI safety standards
• Screen patients for MRI safety, obtain relevant clinical information, and clearly explain imaging procedures
• Prepare and position patients while promoting comfort, privacy, and safety
• Administer contrast media in accordance with applicable protocols and qualifications
• Operate Philips MRI equipment and recognize image-quality issues or equipment concerns
• Produce diagnostic-quality MRI images and ensure accurate documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, technologists, and other members of the acute-care team
• Maintain compliance with department procedures, infection-control standards, and MRI safety requirements
