Travel Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Uniontown, Pennsylvania
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• End Date: February 1, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890–$2,030
• Schedule: Four shifts per week, including afternoon shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays
• Shift Duration: Operational schedule consists of 10-hour shifts; the listing classification indicates 12-hour/any scheduling, so final shift details should be confirmed before acceptance
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Special Assignment: One Wednesday shift each week in pain management performing C-arm-guided injection cases
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care hospital radiology department with inpatient and outpatient imaging
• Imaging Technology: Digital radiography, portable X-ray equipment, C-arm imaging, and Cerner charting
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist, X-Ray Technologist, or Radiology Technologist in an acute-care or hospital setting
• Current ARRT certification applicable to radiography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Eligibility for required Pennsylvania licensure; license status and any license history must be disclosed during submission
• Ability to work rotating afternoons, weekends, holidays, and assigned call as scheduled
• Ability to respond to call within approximately 30 minutes when assigned
• Ability to use required radiation-monitoring equipment
• Strong patient-care, communication, and teamwork skills

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for inpatient and outpatient patients of all ages
• Operate fixed and portable radiography equipment safely and effectively
• Support C-arm imaging for pain-management injection procedures each Wednesday
• Prepare patients, verify exam orders, explain procedures, and promote a comfortable and safe imaging experience
• Apply appropriate radiation-safety practices and maintain required documentation
• Complete accurate image acquisition, patient positioning, image quality checks, and electronic documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the healthcare team
• Manage a busy radiology department performing more than 200 imaging studies per day across multiple service areas
