Travel IR Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710–$2,920
• Location: Hummelstown, Pennsylvania
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based interventional and neurointerventional radiology
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: December 8, 2026
• End Date: March 7, 2027
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, approximately 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week; an alternate four 10-hour schedule may be available
• Call: Weeknight and weekend call, approximately 10 days per month
• Work Environment: On-site hospital role

Interventional Radiology Technologist Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in interventional radiology
• Registered Radiologic Technologist certification through ARRT
• Interventional and neurointerventional radiology training
• Experience with both body IR and neuro IR procedures
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent educational preparation
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and participate in weeknight and weekend call coverage

IR Technologist Responsibilities

• Support interventional radiology and neurointerventional radiology procedures in a hospital setting
• Circulate during procedures and assist with scrubbing as needed
• Prepare procedure rooms, imaging equipment, and supplies for scheduled cases
• Provide safe, accurate radiologic support while following established imaging and procedural protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the procedural care team
• Assist with patient positioning, monitoring, and procedural workflow
• Respond to assigned weeknight and weekend call requirements
