Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Job Title: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist
• Location: Milford, Connecticut
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600–$2,790
• Assignment Type: 13-week hospital travel assignment
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• End Date: February 22, 2027
• Schedule: Five 8-hour evening shifts per week
• Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
• Weekend Coverage: Rotating weekends, including a scheduled day off during the week
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: Approximately 8 hours

CT Technologist Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience; consideration may be given to candidates with at least 1.5 years of experience and Level I or travel experience
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required
• ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) preferred
• Current or eligible Connecticut imaging license; candidates should allow approximately 15–21 business days for license processing
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Demonstrated ability to care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• One professional reference required
• This is a travel assignment; candidates residing within 75 miles of the worksite are not eligible

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations safely, accurately, and efficiently in hospital and outpatient settings
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and provide appropriate positioning and support
• Perform CT studies of the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, sinuses, musculoskeletal system, and vascular structures
• Administer and monitor contrast media in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture as required for imaging procedures
• Apply radiation safety practices and maintain compliance with department standards
• Complete multiplanar reconstructions, region-of-interest measurements, and other post-processing tasks as appropriate
• Document examinations and patient care accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with radiologists, nursing teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and other interdisciplinary partners
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment while supporting quality patient care
