Travel MRI Technologist Job Details

• Healthcare Setting: Hospital MRI and diagnostic imaging
• Location: Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania (PA)
• Assignment: 13 weeks, December 28, 2026–March 27, 2027
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490–$2,670
• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 1:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.
• Shifts: 4 shifts per week; 10 hours per shift (40 hours per week)
• Call and Weekends: No regular call or weekend requirements. If a holiday falls during the assignment, on-call availability may be discussed.

MRI Technologist Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working in a Level I trauma hospital
• Experience with Siemens 1.5T or 3T MRI systems, such as Aera, Sola, Skyra, or Vida
• ARRT or AMRIT credential
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols and MRI safety practices
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and complete MRI safety screening
• Operate and monitor Siemens MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality images
• Collaborate with radiology colleagues and other care team members to support an efficient patient experience
• Document examinations accurately and maintain a safe, organized hospital imaging environment
