Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Kennewick, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Job Overview
- Unit: Medical ICU (2nd Floor ICU)
- Beds: 14
- Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36 (guaranteed)
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Patient Ratio: 1:2 (charge nurse free of patients)
- Patient Population: Medical ICU with sepsis, respiratory, some cardiac, and trauma patients
- Equipment: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) occasionally used
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- Rapid response candidates needed; must be able to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
- No float requirements
- No call required
