Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Kennewick, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Unit and Patient Population
- Unit: Medical ICU (2nd Floor ICU)
- Number of Beds: 14
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 (Charge Nurse free of patients)
- Patient Types: Sepsis, Respiratory, some Cardiac and Trauma
- Equipment: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) occasionally used
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
- Preferred: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- Personality Fit: Team-oriented, accountable to best practices
Additional Information
- Rapid response start: Candidates need to be able to start within 7-10 days of offer acceptance
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel
- No float requirements
- No call requirements
This position offers the opportunity to work in a teaching hospital setting with a diverse patient population in a well-equipped ICU environment.
