Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a Joint Commission Accredited facility with Chest Pain Center (Primary PCI) and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
- 199-bed hospital located in Southern New Mexico with year-round sunshine and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities.
- Unit: Med Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele), 6th floor (Ortho/Onc/MS).
- Patient ratio: 1:6.
- Electronic Health Record system: Meditech.
- Shift: Varies.
- Weekend hours: Every other weekend.
- Call requirements: None.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Float requirements: May float to other Med Surg units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
