Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department at a Joint Commission Accredited facility with 199 beds. The facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
- The area offers year-round sunshine and numerous outdoor recreational activities including hiking, biking, ATV riding, and horseback riding.
- The hospital is recognized as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and a Certified Primary Stroke Center.
